Two decades ago I moved to Portland, OR and landed a small closet

of a space in one of the longest operating ceramic studios in the city.

With a full time job and endless hiking trails to explore in I found

little time to make pots but I held on to that little closet. Over the

years I hop scotched around the building and finally landed in my

current space with plenty of room, lots of light, and large doors that

open onto the ever evolving street. Eventually the balance shifted and

ceramics has become the full time job. I do still make time to get out

and explore our beautiful Pacific Northwest landscape where I find

endless inspiration for my work.
